The first session of the Legal Technology Summit was a Paralegal Employment Forum with a panel of legal administrators and paralegal placement specialists discussing the technology skills required for employment in law offices and offering tips to paralegal students and experienced paralegals exploring employment opportunities in our local legal community. The second session was on E-Discovery and the Certified E-Discovery Specialist. The speaker was Matthew Steinberg, an attorney at Kindred Healthcare. The third session was on PACER and the speaker was Michelle Goetzinger of CMCEF Administrator of U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. The fourth session was on Courtnet 2.0 and AOC Online Resources and the speaker was Elizabeth C. Lucas of Shared Services Manager of Kentucky Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC). The fifth presentation was on Technology in the Courtroom. A courtroom demonstration on using visuals at trial was presented by Judge A.C. McKay Chauvin and Sean Oates of Trial Visuals.
