LOUISVILLE ASSOCIATION OF PARALEGALS
VIRTUAL CLE SERIES – PART II
MAINTAINING A PROFESSIONAL PRESENCE ON THE SMALL SCREEN
The LAP has partnered with Ovation to present a two-part CLE series on timely topics for working in the virtual environment brought on by the COVID pandemic and the ever-growing use of virtual technology in the legal setting. Part II: Maintaining a Professional Presence on the Small Screen is the blended skills of commanding the room, adapting to different audiences, carrying yourself with poise and positively communicating with confidence. It is often an elusive state of being, though somehow, we now need to know how to do via a variety of different virtual platforms. This second webinar will explore best practices for appearance, offer tools for trouble-shooting different communication platforms, and tackle some of the ethical issues that arise for legal professionals currently working from home. This program will also focus on professional responsibility components, including technological competence, maintaining confidentiality in virtual spaces and ethical considerations. This CLE was presented to the LAP membership on April 22, 2020.
Part II of this series qualifies for one KPACC-approved Ethics Credit.
Free registration for LAP members. Non-Members may register for $15.
Certified Kentucky Paralegals - An activity code will be announced during the webinar, which must be included on your LAP Certificate of Completion and KPACC CLE Certificate of Attendance Form for credit eligibility and verification.
