Louisville Association of Paralegals
Legal Technology Summit - November 19, 2014
Paralegal students, educator and paralegals working in all areas of law came together for the 2014 Legal Technology Summit at the Louisville Bar Association. The SLMC is pleased to have been able to offer this educational and networking event for paralegal students and LAP members for the second year.
The first session was a “Paralegal Employment Forum” and the panelist offered great advice on the technology skills required to succeed in the legal field and lots of insider tips on how to ace an interview and advance a paralegal career in today’s job market. The Summit’s CLE sessions included four technology-related continuing legal education sessions approved by KPACC for Certified Kentucky Paralegals: (i) The Challenges of International E-discovery, (ii) Digital Evidence in a Criminal Investigation and Prosecution, (iii) KCOJ/AOC eFiling Training and (iv) Technology in the Courtroom.
